Zagreb and Ljubljana: The perfect tale of 2 countries in one trip.

Multi stop trips have become my favourite way to explore the world and I will let you in on how you can too. I recently did the Zagreb Croatia plus Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 4 day holiday and it’s been my best trip this year starting off with fantastic deal on flights—only £45 return with Ryanair from London Stansted!

Zagreb is a 2 hour flight from London, transportation was incredibly affordable; my 30-minute Bolt ride from the airport cost only £21. We stayed at an apartment called St. Mark’s, nestled in the heart of Upper Town Zagreb. The location couldn’t have been better; we were close to everything and the apartment was clean and comfortable.

What struck me most about Zagreb was how it felt like a refreshing escape from London. The weather was a welcome change, boasting sunshine and warmth compared to the often dreary UK skies. I noticed a lovely sense of modest dressing among locals, from children to adults and teens alike, which contributed to the overall charming atmosphere of the city. What about the food? Omg the fruits were mostly organic, fresh from the farm. Grapes in the market square naturally attracted bees, I couldn’t help but admire the life relaxed lifestyle of the locals and in no time I found myself daydreaming about moving to Zagreb to escape the hustle and bustles of London.
